Simply wow. Breath-taking and blood loosing experience. Probably a once in your lifetime opportunity to see wild bears really close. Their growls is impressive and it's really well done overall by the guides. Very friendly and professional and knew a lot about the bears. I feel grateful and thankful for the experience. - Thanks !

What a great experiece! I saw many bears and could make beautiful pictures. Pekka and his team are experienced, very friendly and helpful and they care for a real wildlife feeling. They don't just throw any food to the ground to attract bears, but hide the food in different places, so the bears go sniffing and searching the location for food, as is their natural behaviour. They will not get dependend on it, because it is not so much to fill them up. And another good thing: you have a bear guarantee. If you don't see any, you can go once more for free. The price is fair as well. There ist a lot of work behind running a place like that. So I highly recommend that place!

Amazing experience! We stayed for 2 whole nights to watch the bears, because we wanted to be sure to see one. During our stay we saw 9 different bears, including two mothers with cubs. We also had three lucky encounters with wolverines! The bog also has a lot of different birds species which were fun to observe when no bears were around. The hut was very comfortable and we had a great guide! I would definitely recommend Bear Kuusamo to other bear enthusiasts. Our stay here was better than what we could have hoped for! 5 stars well earned!

I have been visiting Bear Kuusamo for many years to observe and photograph the brown bears. I’ve had the privilege of observing several individuals for many years, and I already look forward to the next summer to see them again. Hides’ locations are excellent: there are swamps, forests, and water for diverse backgrounds. You can also see beautiful birds of prey, and i.e., ruffs in the Spring. The guides are great and highly knowledgeable. They also operate responsibly, which is important. I’ve never had an evening or night without bears. A big recommendation for this place!

I’ve been visiting Bear Kuusamo for several years and I keep coming back. As a professional wildlife photographer, I've made my best bear shots right here. The setting is very natural with different backgrounds. Especially in the fall; colors are fantastic. Owners are very knowledgeable, and they obviously care about the bears and the wonderful Finnish nature.
